Kids Beat the Heat: We will be learning about Improving Your Climate Resilience through a hands-on library program that helps elementary students and families learn how to stay safe during heat waves by creating a heat wave diorama and taking home an emergency preparedness kit.
ALL AGES: Puerto Rican Heritage Celebration: In celebration of Caribbean American Heritage Month and the upcoming Puerto Rican Day Parade, join the Mott Haven Library Staff in learning about Puerto Rican authors, poets, and musicians that influenced culture in New York City. In this two hour fair, we will have stations for crafting, painting, and button making while music by Puerto Rican artists plays in the background.
