Essex County Division of Senior Services The Essex County Division of Senior Services, located at 465 Dr. Martin Luther King Blvd.

Rm #102, Newark, New Jersey 07102, is the primary center for planning, program development and coordination of services to persons age 60 and over in the county. The Division's ADRC (AGING and DISABILITY RESOURCE CONNECTION) Information and Assistance Unit is the central source
for information and referral for older adults and disabled individuals in Essex County. The ADRC is a doorway to information and
referral for older adults and consumers on long term care. By calling Essex County ADRC, 973-395-8365, 8368, 8391 , 8838 or
1-877-222-3737, older adults and disabled individuals, their families, and other concerned individuals can obtain information about
referral or linkage to community services for older adults and disabled residents. Individuals with hearing impairments may call the
New Jersey Relay Service (711V/TTY) to access information. The ADRC unit arranges for home visits by outreach staff to help older
adults assess their needs and access services. Those individuals who are frail and vulnerable, who have no effective support system of
family or friends and who will need long-term and extensive assistance are referred to the ADRC Care Management Unit, based at the
Division of Senior Services.

Good morning,

Please see the attached flyer for our First Winter Gala!

We understand that QR codes can sometimes be a little tricky to navigate, especially for some of our seniors. To make registration easier, please feel free to call me directly at 973-395-8391 or email your information to [email protected], and I will be happy to assist you.

Please note that, due to capacity restrictions, registration will be limited to the first 150 seniors. Although the flyer lists November 30 as the registration deadline, we encourage everyone to register as soon as possible, as spaces tend to fill up quickly.

If you need any additional information or assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out. We look forward to celebrating with you at our first Winter Gala!
