🚌💚🤍 SAFELY CARRYING OUR PACK! 🐺

It’s National School Bus Safety Week, and we’re celebrating the amazing bus drivers who go above and beyond to keep our Newburg Wolves safe every day!

To show our appreciation, we recognized our drivers with certificates and custom keychains as a small token of gratitude for the BIG responsibility they carry each day!

Our bus drivers do so much more than transport students. They greet our Wolves with a smile, navigate all kinds of weather, and make student safety their top priority. They are often the first and last school faces our students see each day! 💚

To our incredible bus drivers: THANK YOU for safely carrying our pack! Your dedication, patience, and care do not go unnoticed. We appreciate everything you do for our students and families!

Mr. Dunn has shared a letter addressing the new pilot A–F grading system soon to be released by the state of Missouri.

Here are a few quick takeaways:

𝐈𝐭’𝐬 𝐚 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐏𝐢𝐥𝐨𝐭: The state is testing initial A–F grades based on 2024–25 data, and calculations are still evolving.

𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐚 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞: A single letter rating doesn't reflect the full story of our students' growth, attendance, and achievements.

𝐌𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠: DESE will release three different reports over the coming months (including APR and pilot report cards).
