Saying a big thank you to our community partners who helped put on Family Day.👏👏

Over September Drill, the 105th Airlift Wing hosted Family Day to give Airmen a chance to show their families where they work and the mission they support. This event takes an army of volunteers and community partners to put on!

Today, the Brigadier General Ryan Dannemann, 105th commander, presented coins and awards to our community partners who ensured a smooth and successful event.

Let us give these teammates a round of applause 👏 and a big thank you!

Trained and ready for anything. 🔥

Recently, the Stewart ANGB Fire Department team conducted structural live-fire training at the Orange County Fire Training Center, working through multiple simulated scenarios to sharpen their skills and prepare for real-world emergencies.

The training allowed firefighters to operate in a realistic environment and strengthen the skills critical to performing under intense conditions.

Great job! 👏 🚒

An enlistment to remember 🇺🇸🎆

Many Airmen don’t remember where their very first enlistment took place, but these future Airmen sure will!

Last Friday, the annual Salute2Vets veteran appreciation event took place on the Walkway Over the Hudson. The event brings counties together to honor veterans with a ceremony, food and fireworks. During the ceremony, seven student flighters from the 105th Airlift Wing got to take the Oath of Enlistment in front of family, friends and other community members. Sworn in by Maj. Steve Morris, 105th Security Support Squadron commander, they will join different squadrons on base.

Congratulations all!
