Middle Hope Fire Department

Last week Middle Hope Firefighters had the pleasure of visiting some awesome young people during fire prevention week!

We visited Balmville Elementary on Tuesday, Pattycake Playhouse on Wednesday, Middlehope Elementary on Thursday, and Marlboro Elementary on Friday.

They were all so excited to see some of our gear and tools. It was refreshing to see the knowledge their parents and teachers have taught them.

Keep up the good work, see ya next year!

Said incident occurred on Route 9W just north of Chestnut Road. While responding, Car 1 received an update that there was a subject entrapped within the vehicle. On the arrival of Car 2 and CVFD Car 1, said information was confirmed. Members of Rescue 334 quickly went to work on their arrival, utilizing the hydraulic Hurst spreaders and cutters to remove both passenger doors and B post from the vehicle. Motor vehicle accidents are one of the most common calls for service in our district. It’s imperative that we continue to drill on such to ensure that our community can trust and rely on us when needed.
