From cribs to college, James Storehouse provides for the needs of children in foster care. James Storehouse is inspired by a Bible verse.

James 1:27 calls us to pursue religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless by providing for and looking after orphans and widows in distress. James Storehouse answers this call to serve and support the children in foster care and those aged-out of foster care. James Storehouse envisions a future where community members join together to care for those left vulnerable in our society, especially children in foster care.

We found the cutest pumpkins in the patch! 🧡

Our Purposeful Parenting families enjoyed such a fun fall day at McGrath Great Pacific Pumpkins ! We explored the corn maze, rode the tractor to visit the farm animals, there was so much to enjoy! And of course, everyone got to pick out the perfect pumpkin to take home! 🎃

We truly love creating opportunities for our parents and children to have fun together, make special memories, and strengthen their bond. These are the moments that matter!

A little peek into our newest program Mentoring Mommas!

At the heart of Mentoring Mommas is a simple but powerful goal: creating a community where young moms and families feel seen, encouraged, and supported as they navigate motherhood and life.

Through this program, mothers from the community come alongside young moms, offering encouragement, wisdom, and meaningful relationships to remind them that they don’t have to walk this journey alone.

Our hope is that this community becomes more than a support system. We want to cultivate meaningful relationships.

We’ve already shared two sweet gatherings together, from creating beautiful flower arrangements to making personalized bookmarks! We’re so grateful for the connections being built and can’t wait to see how this community continues to grow.

Here’s to growing together, building lasting friendships, and reminding moms that they don’t have to do it alone. ✨

This week, we had the incredible honor of celebrating a very special milestone with Priscilla, a member of both our Road to Resilience and Open Table Mentorship programs.

Priscilla has shown incredible courage and determination as she has taken ownership of her recovery and worked toward building a brighter future for herself and her son. When she first began her journey, she made the decision to sell her car to remove any temptation that could interfere with her recovery.

This week, we were honored to help put the keys back in her hands. 🔑

This car represents so much more than transportation; it represents freedom, opportunity, perseverance, and a new chapter. We are incredibly proud of how far Priscilla has come and grateful to walk alongside her as she continues to build a life filled with hope and possibility.

And what made this moment even more special? She was surrounded by her Open Table mentors, the people who have continued to encourage, support, and believe in her along the way.

Priscilla, we are so proud of you! Your story is one of resilience, and we can’t wait to see where this next chapter takes you.🩵
