Last night, the New Hampshire community came together to honor those who served before us. 🇺🇸

Members of the 157th Air Refueling Wing joined veterans and community members in Newington for a Military Support Concert benefiting Easterseals New Hampshire Veterans Count, the New Hampshire Military Assistance Foundation and Northeast Passage.

“The work these organizations do make a big difference in the lives of those who fought for our country,” said Maj. Gen. David Mikolaities, New Hampshire National Guard Adjutant General.

The New Hampshire National Guard’s 39th Army Band opened the evening before Gary Sinise & the Lt. Dan Band took the stage, bringing the community together through music and a shared commitment to supporting service members, veterans and their families.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support New Hampshire’s veteran community! 🇺🇸🎶

Train together, win together. 💪🏆

September drill put us to the test!

Airmen from across the wing showcased their strength, endurance and teamwork during the Pease Warrior Challenge.

From functional fitness and weightlifting to the Pease Relay, competitors pushed through rainy conditions and challenged themselves alongside their teammates.

“Embrace the suck, push your teammates, refuse to quit until your last breath defeat is only a rumor.”- Staff Sgt. Nathan Willard

Earlier today, members of the 157th Air Refueling Wing and 64th Air Refueling Squadron gathered to honor the service members who never made it home.

The POW/MIA Recognition Ceremony marked the culmination of a 24-hour remembrance relay, during which Airmen ran, walked and marched continuously while carrying the U.S. and POW/MIA flags.

Rick Downes, president of the Coalition of Families of Korean and Cold War POW/MIAs, joined the ceremony and shared the story of his father, Lt. Hal Downes, who remains missing, as well as Capt. Harl Pease, the base’s namesake.

We honor the prisoners of war, those still missing in action and the families who continue to carry their memory.

You are not forgotten. 🇺🇸

Happy Birthday, U.S. Air Force ! 🇺🇸✈️

For 79 years, American Airmen have answered the call to push boundaries, defend our nation and deliver airpower anytime, anywhere.

Today, the 157th Air Refueling Wing celebrates those who built our service and those who carry the mission forward.

Happy Birthday, Air Force! 🎂

Never forget 🇺🇸🫡

Members of the 157th Air Refueling Wing joined military personnel, civilian employees, first responders, veterans, retirees and families at Pease Air National Guard Base to remember the nearly 3,000 people killed in the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks.

For retired Lt. Col. Terry Hardy and retired Col. Richard Martell, the anniversary carries memories of experiencing that day from Pease.

As the attacks unfolded, the wing moved quickly to secure the installation and prepare to respond. By noon, Airmen had reported for duty without being recalled, and the wing was ready to fly. That night, the 157th flew its first mission in support of the nation’s response.

On Sept. 11, 2026, the Pease community gathered again—this time to honor those who were lost, reflect on those who answered the call and ensure their stories are remembered.
