This is a wonderful opportunity to pick up FREE over-the-counter medications for yourself, your family, and even friends! Items may include allergy medicine, cough & cold medicine, pain relief, vitamins, children’s medicine, and more.

Avery and Mitchell friends we are talking about school readiness this week, because lots of folks are getting ready to start preschool or Kindergarten! But don’t let that deter those of you with little ones, we are going to focus on how to support school readiness from the very beginning!!

Please note that the Toe River Health District (Avery County Health Department and Mitchell County Health Department) will close today at 12:00 PM so our team can enjoy a Staff Appreciation Picnic.
