It's not too late!
This Friday, June 16 is the last day to apply for Phase 1A of the Coweta County Tornado Assistance Program.
Phase 1A is aimed to help both unincorporated Coweta County and City of Newnan property owners impacted by the March 2021 tornado. The program will focus on removing standing damaged trees within 125-feet of residences.

We at Tyler Technologies-Local Courts, along with Clerk of Court, Niki Sewell, are pleased to announce that the Georgia Superior Court Clerks' Cooperative Authority has released deed data back to 1983 for Coweta County. This data, which includes indexing information and images, is now searchable on the GSCCCA website at www.gsccca.org/search, as well as in the clerk's office at Coweta County Superior Court Clerk's Office. Scam alert: Do NOT pay callers who threaten to arrest you unless you pay! Residents of Coweta County continue to receive fraudulent phone calls claiming that the victim failed to appear for jury duty in the Coweta County court and/or has an arrest warrant or similar adverse situation.
These callers will threaten you and have you go to a grocery store or a drug store and have you buy a "Green Dot Card".
Coweta County Superior Court or the Coweta County Sheriff's Office WILL NEVER CALL YOU AND HAVE YOU PAY A FINE OVER THE PHONE!
Please be aware and do not fall for this scam.
