Coweta.Ga.CERT

Effective Radio Communication training class is scheduled for Thursday 2/15 @ 18:30 hrs (6:30pm) at the EOC. This is required training in order to join the Strike Team.

If you have completed Basic CERT training and are wishing to join the Strike Team, the required effective Communication Class will be held Thursday February 15 @ 6:00pm. The class will be held in the EOC at 195 Industrial Blvd. Please comment on this post if you plan to attend.

A huge thanks to all of the CERT Strike Team Members who responded to the need to help our neighbors in Spalding County over the last two days. You all did a fantastic job operating the Volunteer Response Center. 👍

The Coweta County CERT Strike Team is being deployed to Griffin tomorrow and Monday to help them with their tornado response efforts.

Coweta EMA coordinator earns certification Nic Burgess, Coweta County Emergency Management Agency coordinator, recently earned his certification for emergency management through the International Association of Emergency Managers.
