💧 Maintain a distance of at least 10 feet between your boat and nearby power lines to be safe

Last week, Newnan Utilities was proud to host the Georgia Recycling Coalition in Newnan for a day highlighting sustainability efforts happening right here in our community.

The group toured Yamaha Motor Manufacturing Corporation of America to learn more about their environmental initiatives before visiting Newnan Utilities’ compost facility to see how biosolids are processed and transformed into a beneficial resource.

Looks like a pretty good weekend for the park. ☀️

New, softer flooring was recently installed at both toddler playgrounds at Carl Miller Park, just in time for summer play days.

The Perry Street utility project in downtown Newnan is now complete. Over the past several weeks, crews worked to replace utility poles in the area.

Thank you to the businesses, residents, and drivers who showed patience while work was taking place downtown. These upgrades help support the long-term reliability of our electric system and continued investment in downtown Newnan. 💡

Great night at Hats & Hooves supporting Elevate Coweta Students and the impact they continue to make for local students and families. 💙

Newnan Utilities is proud to be a Founding Sustaining Partner of ELEVATE Coweta Students.

A few of our crew members also volunteered to help work the event and apparently served as the muscle throughout the event. 💪😂

Earlier this week, we had a great time at the 41st Annual Chamber Golf Classic getting to connect with so many people from across our community. ⛳️

Jeff was also a good sport about us turning him into a Yankee for the “Red, White & Birdie” theme. ⚾️ 🇺🇸
