Through Coweta Water’s DRIP Program, the organization was awarded $7,500 to help fund their mission and continued impact in our community. Today, we held a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the completion of Coweta Water Authority's new Chattahoochee River Pump Station & Raw Water Transmission Main! 🎉

This legacy project establishes a resilient new water source for the Authority, enhancing our ability to provide additional supply capacity to support continued growth and development within the community. It features a new Chattahoochee River intake, pump station, and a 10-mile transmission pipeline delivering water to CCWSA's B.T. Brown Water Treatment Plant.

As the first permitted river intake between Atlanta and Columbus in a century, it is the result of years of forward-thinking infrastructure planning and investment. Designed by Garver and constructed by Ruby-Collins, Inc., this historic project marks an important step forward in securing a sustainable water supply for Coweta County.

We’re proud to celebrate this milestone and thank everyone whose hard work and dedication helped make this project a reality! 👏
