Don't worry β€” it's only a drill!

If you happen to see a large number of City Hall employees gathered outside the building today, there's no need for alarm!

City employees are participating in the annual Great ShakeOut earthquake drill, practicing the procedures they would follow in the event of a real earthquake.

Exercises like this help employees become familiar with emergency procedures and ensure everyone knows what to do when the unexpected happens.

It's also a good reminder for everyone to practice earthquake safety: DROP, COVER, and HOLD ON!

Remember, preparedness today can make all the difference tomorrow.

No emergency β€” just a little practice!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Coffee with a Cop at Starbucks last week! We enjoyed the opportunity to connect with our community over a cup of coffee.

Coffee with a Cop provides an informal, relaxed setting for community members to meet local officers, ask questions, share concerns, and get to know the people behind the badge. These conversations help build trust, strengthen relationships, and create a stronger, safer community.

Thank you to Starbucks for hosting us and to everyone who stopped by. We look forward to seeing you at our next event!
