We received these beautiful letters today from a local school project, and they truly meant the world to us at the firehouse. ❤️

It’s easy to forget just how much of an impact we can have on the younger generation. Knowing that these kids look up to us, see us as heroes, and view us as role models is something we don’t take for granted.

These simple, heartfelt messages reminded us why we do what we do. Being there for our community isn’t just about responding to emergencies—it’s about building relationships, inspiring the next generation, and showing our kids what it means to serve others.

Thank you to the students and teachers who took the time to make these. You truly made our night at the station! 🚒❤️

We are incredibly proud to serve our community and even prouder to know that we’re making a difference in the lives of these young people. Thank you for reminding us that the little things can mean so much.

Today, we remember the 2,977 lives lost 25 years ago on September 11, 2001, and honor our heroes who put themselves in harm's way for the sake of others.

An entire generation is coming of age, not knowing what it felt like to wake up on this day and watch the tragedy unfold before their eyes. It is our job to help them understand. Take nothing for granted.

Thank a first responder, soldier, or healthcare worker today; they are the real heroes of our society. Never forget. #9/11

🏈🌩️ THE GREATEST SEASON HAS RETURNED! 🌩️🏈

FOOTBALL IS BACK!

The Niantic Fire Department is proud to support our local athletes and community by staging a unit at every home football game this season. Our crew will be on standby throughout the game, ready to assist players, coaches, and spectators should a medical emergency arise. 🚑🚒

Tonight marks the first home game of the season, and we’re looking forward to seeing the stands packed with family, friends, and fans cheering on our Storm!

Come out, make some noise, and show these athletes what Storm pride is all about! 🌩️🏈

Good luck tonight, Storm!
LET’S KICK OFF A GREAT SEASON! 💪🏈

Took a night off of training and enjoyed a little game. A bit of team building and bringing the family together.

A section of Lincoln Memorial will be barricaded off due to a power pole hanging over the road. This section of the road will remain closed off until Ameren is able to make repairs. This is right at the entrance to the park!

If anyone within the Niantic community is needing to seek shelter at the station. Please reach out! We have several members around today!
