Good morning everyone.

We hope everyone fared well and stayed safe during the storm.

Please note regarding downed trees: As long as the roadway is safely passable for vehicle traffic, crews will not be fully clearing or removing the remaining tree debris at this time. Our primary focus remains on maintaining open access for emergency and public travel.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as clean-up efforts continue. Stay safe!

Our North Bay personnel have safely returned from their wildland deployment supporting operations on the Ross Fire in Texas.

During their assignment, crews worked tirelessly alongside partnering agencies to construct control lines and protect critical infrastructure. Thanks to coordinated suppression efforts, the Ross Fire is currently mapped at approximately 90,400 acres with containment reaching 88%.

We are proud of our members' dedication on the front lines and glad to welcome them back home. Excellent work by all involved.

Yesterday, crews were dispatched to a reported structure fire. Upon arrival, firefighters located a bathroom exhaust fan actively on fire. Thanks to quick action by our crews, the fire was rapidly extinguished and successfully contained strictly to the area of origin, preventing further damage to the residence.
We are happy to report that no injuries occurred, and the homeowner was not displaced.

Fire Safety Tip: Bathroom exhaust fans can collect dust and lint over time, causing motors to overheat. Be sure to clean your exhaust fan grilles regularly to keep them free of debris!

A huge thank you to St Francis Catholic Church for the incredible care and support you showed us during our deployment. You provided us with hot meals, all the essentials we needed and a place to recover from the heat. Most of all, you welcomed us with open arms and genuine kindness when we needed it most. Your generosity made a real difference in tough conditions. We are truly grateful. Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts.
