🚢🆙 Maintenance capability leveled up!

The U.S. military and civilian team at Forward Deployed Regional Maintenance Center achieved new forward-deployed maintenance capability with the docking of USS Arleigh Burke (DDG 51) at Navantia shipyard in Cadiz, Spain, maximizing operational readiness and availability.

In the spotlight: Pipefitters ⚙️

No pipe, no power. No flow, no fight.

Pipefitters do the hard, exacting work that keeps a ship alive—steam, seawater, fuel, hydraulics, firemain. They crawl into tanks, bilges, and voids, read the drawings, cut and fit the pipe, lay the weld, and make sure it holds when the ship gets underway.

When a system passes hydro on the first shot, that is not luck. That is skill. That is experience. That is pride in the trade.

Pipefitters put their name on work that has to last at sea—and the Fleet depends on them every day.
