Great news, Norfolk! The Chick-fil-A on North Military Highway is set to reopen soon, bringing 160 new jobs to our community with competitive pay, flexible schedules, and room for professional growth.

This investment is expected to circulate nearly $4 million in wages back into Norfolk’s economy, boost activity along the North Military Highway corridor, and generate future tax revenue that supports essential city services and schools. Once open, the location will also continue Chick‑fil‑A’s tradition of community partnership and local engagement.

We’re excited to see this project move forward and the positive impact it will bring to our residents and businesses.

The Chick-fil-A at Broad Creek Crossing is set to reopen soon and is looking to fill 160 full-time and part-time positions.

Last week we celebrated a significant milestone for Norfolk with the groundbreaking of the new William A. Hunton YMCA. While construction is just getting underway, this moment reflects years of planning, collaboration, and shared commitment to returning a key community asset in the St. Paul's Area.

The City of Norfolk is proud to support this project, which will bring expanded opportunities for wellness, youth development, and community engagement to residents for generations to come. This investment aligns with our broader goals of strengthening neighborhoods, promoting equitable access to resources, and fostering long-term economic vitality.
