Crossroads Civic League Come on out and meet your neighbors and local business owners whom have a common desire to improve ou

The Crossroads Civic League is a nonprofit organization, a culmination of Hyde Park, Norva Homes, Colonial Heights and Brentwood Forest. We formed due to lack of representation within our local government. Our goals are to improve our neighborhood by working closely with our police department to deter crime, to foster relationships with other Civic Leagues, to collaborate closely with our schools, businesses, and churches and to open the channels of communication between the city and our neighborhood.

We came. We cleaned. We counted. πŸ’ͺ 🌏

For the eighth year, Crossroads Civic League teamed up with Keep Norfolk Beautiful for the International Coastal Cleanup β€” and once again, our community SHOWED UP!

This cleanup is about more than getting litter out of the park . Volunteers help collect and track what we find, contributing to data pollution at its source.

In just two hours, 15 adults and 3 kids picked up over 100 pounds of trash from Northside Park Mountain Bike Trails Norfolk and Northside Bark Park area coming . πŸ—‘οΈ 🀯

A massive thanks goes to every volunteer who spent their Saturday morning with us, Keep Norfolk Beautiful for another incredible partnership,

And yes… we found some weird stuff. We always find some weird stuff. πŸ˜‚

Clean it. Count it. Change it! πŸ’š
