ES: ¡Ya llega el desfile de personajes de MLC!
⏰Cuándo: 30 de octubre a las 2:15pm
🎃Que: Se invita a los estudiantes a traer un disfraz que represente a su personaje favorito de un cuento o libro.
Al final del día, nuestros estudiantes se disfrazarán de sus personajes favoritos y desfilarán alrededor de Musselman Learning Center. ¡Invitamos a las familias a acompañarlos y animarlos!
Algunos detalles importantes:
* Por favor que su hijo traiga su disfraz a la escuela. Los disfraces deben ser fáciles de poner sobre la ropa al final del día.
* Las familias se reunirán con nosotros afuera de la escuela Musselman. Los padres o tutores no entrarán a la escuela por el desfile.

EN: The MLC Character Parade is coming!
⏰When: October 30 at 2:15 PM
🎃What: Students are invited to BRING a costume representing a favorite character from a story or book.
At the end of the day, our students will dress as their favorite characters and parade around the outside of Musselman Learning Center. Families are invited to join us and cheer them on!
A Few Important Details:
-Please have your child BRING their costume to school. Costumes should be easy to put on over their clothing at the end of the day.
-Families should MEET US OUTSIDE the Musselman building. Parents/guardians will not enter the building for the parade.
-The parade will begin at the back of the school and continue around the entire building, so families may find a viewing spot anywhere along the route.
-Please park behind Family Dollar or behind Rocco’s.
-Parents/guardians may sign their child out following the parade.

We can't wait to see our favorite storybook characters come to life!

ES: El jueves por la tarde celebramos nuestro primer evento de «Meriendas y Cuentos Bilingües » en el Musselman Learning Center. Los estudiantes y sus familias leyeron juntos, realizaron actividades de alfabetización, decoraron marcapáginas y disfrutaron de una merienda. ¡Un agradaciemiento a nuestros amigos de Norristown Area Education Foundation, Montgomery County - Norristown Public Library, Herrs y Wawa por ayudarnos a celebrar la alfabetización familiar y el bilingüismo en nuestra comunidad!

EN: On Thursday afternoon, we held our first Bilingual Snacks and Stories event at the Musselman Learning Center. Students and their families read together, engaged in literacy activities, decorated bookmarks, and enjoyed a snack. Thank you to our friends at the Norristown Area Education Foundation, the Montgomery County-Norristown Public Library, Herr's, and Wawa for helping us celebrate family literacy and bilingualism in our community!

(ES): ¡Hoy, nuestros estudiantes del Centro de Aprendizaje Musselman disfrutaron de una visita especial de Safety Dog (Perro de Seguridad), de First Student! 🚌🐾🐶 Los estudiantes tuvieron la oportunidad de recorrer un autobús escolar, aprender normas de seguridad importantes, tomarse una foto con Safety Dog y participar en actividades divertidas e interactivas diseñadas para reforzar hábitos seguros al viajar. ¡Gracias a First Student y a Safety Dog por ayudar a nuestros estudiantes a aprender a mantenerse seguros en el autobús y por convertirlo en una experiencia divertida para todos!

(EN): Today, our students at Musselman Learning Center enjoyed a special visit from First Student's Safety Dog! 🚌🐾🐶 Students had the opportunity to tour a school bus, learn important school bus safety rules, take a photo with Safety Dog, and participate in fun, interactive activities designed to reinforce safe riding habits. Thank you to First Student and Safety Dog for helping our students learn how to stay safe on the bus while making it a fun experience for everyone!

We’ll also be sending an email with more details, including information about 1st Grade Spring Open Houses at Cole Manor, Hancock, and Davenport! These events are a great way to meet staff, tour the building, and help your student feel ready for this exciting next step.
