Bringing passenger rail back to Pottstown would be a big win for our region.

I was glad to join local and regional leaders at The Hill School earlier this week to discuss the Schuylkill River Passenger Rail project, which would restore passenger train service between Reading and Philadelphia, with stops in Pottstown and Phoenixville.

Serving as vice chair of the Schuylkill River Passenger Rail Authority, I've seen the strong partnership among Montgomery, Chester, and Berks counties to explore what this project could mean for our communities.

Improved transportation can help connect residents to jobs, support local businesses, and create new opportunities throughout the region.

There's more work to do, but it's a conversation worth having and an investment worth exploring for the future of our communities.

Preserving one of Montgomery County's great outdoor attractions!

With more than 37,000 visitors last year, Briar Bush Nature Center is a treasured destination here in Montgomery County.

I was proud to present a $132,000 Montco 2040 grant to Abington Township to restore 11 acres of forest, remove invasive plants, and protect this beautiful space for future generations.

Thank you to Abington Township and the Briar Bush team for having us.

It was good to see so many students come out and local businesses participate in the 5th annual Careers of Tomorrow Expo in Oaks today.

Montgomery County has a lot of good-paying career opportunities that include the skilled trades, manufacturing, healthcare, technology, public safety and more. It’s important that young people know what options are out there and have a chance to learn from the professionals doing the work.

Thank you to our Commerce Department, Workforce Development Board and the local employers who took the time to meet with students and share what they do.

Today our Commissioners joined Merck and Governor Josh Shapiro in Upper Gwynedd Township for the ribbon cutting of Merck’s new AdVAnce R&D facility!

The new 120,000-square-foot facility uses advanced robotics, automation, and modern IT systems to improve laboratory operations and help accelerate vaccine research and development.

This investment strengthens Montgomery County’s growing life sciences sector and brings cutting-edge research and technology into a community already home to some of the world’s leading healthcare and pharmaceutical innovation.

We’re proud to see this next chapter of research and development taking shape right here in Montgomery County.

Proud to take part in Norristown’s 34th Columbus Day Celebration at the Christopher Columbus Monument at Elmwood Park. 🇮🇹🇺🇸

This annual tradition is a meaningful way to recognize the families, stories, and contributions that have shaped our community.

A special shoutout to today’s keynote speaker, Joe Corropolese of Corropolese Bakery, a Norristown native whose family story and local roots are deeply connected to Montgomery County.

Thank you to the Columbus Day Celebration Committee for continuing this tradition and bringing the community together year after year.

Returning your mail-in ballot? Here are a few things to keep in mind before you head to a drop box. 📬

✅ Use both required envelopes
✅ Sign and date the Voter’s Declaration
✅ Return your own ballot, unless a Designated Agent Form has been completed

Mail-in ballots must be received by 8:00 p.m. on Election Day, November 3.

And don’t wait until the last minute. Returning your ballot earlier gives Voter Services more time to reach you if there’s an issue that needs to be corrected.

For voter information, visit MontcoVotes.com.
