🐕 A Reminder to Dog Owners and Walkers at Bear Hill Reservoir
Animal Control Officer DiCenzo has begun receiving complaints regarding dogs at Bear Hill Reservoir and would like to remind all dog owners and walkers of the following:
🐾 Keep your dog on a leash.
Dogs are required to be leashed and under control at all times when off their owner’s or keeper’s property. Regardless of your dog’s size or temperament, please remember that not everyone is comfortable being approached by an off-leash dog. While you may enjoy the company of your four-legged companion, it’s important to respect the comfort and safety of others.
💩 Please clean up after your dog.
Always pick up and properly dispose of your dog’s waste. Place waste bags in a trash receptacle or take them home with you. DO NOT THROW BAGGED DOG WASTE INTO THE WOODS.
⛔ Respect posted signs on Town-owned properties.
Dogs are not permitted on certain Town-owned properties. Before entering school grounds, playgrounds, parks, or other Town-owned areas with your dog, please check and follow all posted signs.
🌳 Let’s keep our trails, parks, and public spaces enjoyable for everyone! We ask all residents and visitors to be respectful of others and help keep these shared spaces clean, safe, and welcoming for all.

Thank you for your cooperation and consideration! 🐾
