We’re getting crafty at Microsoft today! 🎨🥫

We’re excited to be part of Microsoft’s Volunteer Village, where employees are joining us for a fun micro-volunteering activity with a BIG impact!

Together, we’re decorating a food donation bin that will stay onsite throughout November, inspiring Microsoft employees to give back and help keep our neighbors’ shelves stocked.

A little creativity, a lot of community spirit, and a whole month of opportunities to give! 💚🧡

Thank you, Microsoft, for helping us turn creativity into community impact!

We are closed today, October 12, in observance of Indigenous Peoples’ Day.

Today, we recognize and celebrate the Snoqualmie Tribe and the Indigenous peoples who have called this Valley home since time immemorial. From the rivers that provide food to the land that sustains our communities, we're grateful for the generations of care, knowledge, and stewardship that continue to shape the place we call home.

We're honored to work closely with the Snoqualmie Tribe as partners in caring for our neighbors and supporting a stronger, healthier community. 💚

While our doors are closed today, food support is still available! Visit our website for Go Bag locations and other community resources.

We'll be back tomorrow, October 13, during our regular hours!

October 8th is DAF Day!

Today, we're celebrating everyone who uses their Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) to support Snoqualmie Valley Food Bank. Thank you for making our work possible!

💡 What's a DAF? Think of it as a charitable giving account that allows you to set aside money for nonprofits you care about, receive potential tax benefits, and give when you're ready.

✨ Have a DAF? Make your impact go even further! Through Half My DAF, donors who commit to giving away at least half their DAF balance can help nonprofits like ours qualify for additional matching grants!

🍂 October is here, and there’s a lot happening at Snoqualmie Valley Food Bank!

Mark your calendars for two important dates this month:

📅 October 21 | @ Mobile Office at SVFB
The DSHS Mobile Community Services Office will be onsite at the food bank! Community members can stop by for in-person help with DSHS services, including applying for or reviewing benefits and getting questions answered.

🏃 October 25 | Harvest Run
Our Harvest Run fundraiser is coming up! Lace up your shoes, bring your family and friends, and join us for a fun way to support Snoqualmie Valley Food Bank. Every registration helps us continue providing food and resources to neighbors throughout our community.

And, of course, our doors are open throughout the month for neighbors who need groceries and support. 💚

October is shaping up to be a busy one, and we’re grateful to have our community alongside us.

A week later, and we’re still smiling about Gather.Grow.Give. 🧡

Last Sunday, 140 neighbors gathered for an afternoon of incredible food, plenty of laughter, a little friendly bingo competition, and a whole lot of generosity.

Together, we raised approximately $48,000 in support of Snoqualmie Valley Food Bank! 🎉

To everyone who joined us, donated, volunteered, contributed an auction item, or helped bring the day to life: THANK YOU. 🧡

And an extra special thank-you to our Gather.Grow.Give. sponsors and community partners! From the beautiful space and incredible food to our auction packages and all the little details in between, this event truly took a community. We are so grateful to the local businesses and organizations that showed up alongside us to support our neighbors.

And wait…did you notice the antlers in the photo? 👀

Yep. Everyone really was wearing them!

At Gather.Grow.Give., we gave guests a sneak peek at something new coming to SVFB: The Herd.

One neighbor helping another. One monthly gift joining the next. One Herd working together to make sure our neighbors have food on the table.

Keep an eye on our page next week. We can’t wait to officially introduce you to The Herd.

Thank you for gathering, growing, and giving with us. The afternoon may be over, but this community is just getting started.

🧡 With special thanks to our sponsors and community partners:

We’re getting excited for Gather.Grow.Give. tomorrow! 🌿💚

Here’s a little sneak peek at the beautiful centerpieces provided by our friends at The Nursery at Mount Si North Bend, WA. And because this is a Food Bank fundraiser, even our centerpieces are edible!

We can’t wait to gather with our community tomorrow for an afternoon of good food, fun, and giving back, all in support of our neighbors throughout the Snoqualmie Valley.

Couldn’t join us this year? You can still be part of Gather.Grow.Give. by making a gift in support of Snoqualmie Valley Food Bank. Every gift helps us keep nutritious food and essential resources accessible to our neighbors. 💚

🧡 Hunger Action Month is all about turning awareness into action, and our volunteers show up and take action all year long.

Last week, we took some time to celebrate them with a tour of our new food bank building, sharing the latest designs and walking through the future space together. Afterwards, we headed to South Fork for happy hour!

A BIG thank you to South Fork for providing the delicious food and a wonderful space to eat, drink, gather, and celebrate our incredible volunteers. 💚

Happy Labor Day!

Today, we recognize the hard work of the people who keep our communities going and the importance of making sure every neighbor has the food they need to thrive.

A reminder that Snoqualmie Valley Food Bank is closed today, Monday, September 7, in observance of Labor Day.

We’ll be back open tomorrow, Tuesday, September 8, from 2:30–6:30 PM.

🧡 September is Hunger Action Month - and today is National Food Bank Day!

It feels like the perfect day to celebrate the incredible community that makes our work possible every single week.

On September 1, City of North Bend Government Mayor Mary Miller officially proclaimed September as Hunger Action Month, helping us kick off a month dedicated to turning awareness into action across the Valley.

At Snoqualmie Valley Food Bank, Community in Action is more than a slogan, it’s at the heart of everything we do.

And this month, we’re inviting our entire community to be part of it.

Give. Volunteer. Share. Wear orange. Spread the word. However you choose to show up, your action matters.

Because when our community comes together, small actions add up to something powerful. 🧡

How will YOU take action?
