Today, we not only rememberβwe honor.
On this 25th anniversary of September 11th, 2001, the memories remain just as vivid and heartbreaking as they were that day. We remember the thousands of brave men and women who tragically lost their lives in the horrific attacks on our nation, and we especially honor the North Bergen residents and heroes we lost that day.
These were our neighbors, friends, family members, and members of our community. Their lives, their stories, and their memories will forever remain a part of North Bergen.
Each year, we gather for this solemn ceremony to honor those we lost, pay tribute to their families, and ensure that their memory lives on. It is also our responsibility to teach the younger generations about September 11thβthe lives lost, the incredible bravery of our heroes, and the lasting impact this tragic day had on our country.
Twenty-five years later, we continue to remember.
We continue to honor our North Bergen heroes.
And we will continue to teach future generations.
We will never forget. πΊπΈποΈ
