Meet the Team: Dawn! 💚

With more than 30 years dedicated to caring for others, Dawn brings a wealth of healthcare experience, compassion, and a genuine passion for helping others to the Home Instead family!

Dawn joined Home Instead in 2022 because she loves working one-on-one with individuals and helping them maintain their independence in the comfort of their own homes. Throughout her career, she has held a variety of roles, including CNA, STNA, medication passer, Resident Care Coordinator, scheduler, and administrative support. Much of her experience has been in long-term care, where she has made a lasting impact on the lives of those she serves.

❤️ A Heart for Caring: Caring for others has always been an important part of Dawn’s life, both personally and professionally.
💕 A Special Bond: One of the greatest blessings in Dawn’s life has been becoming the guardian of Katie, a special young woman whose mother entrusted Dawn to care for her before she passed away. Dawn considers becoming Katie’s “Mamma” one of the greatest blessings of her life.
✈️ An Adventurer: When she’s not working, Dawn enjoys traveling, exploring new places, and making memories along the way.
🏕️ A Glamping Enthusiast: Dawn loves spending time with her family and enjoying the outdoors through glamping adventures!

Dawn’s story is a beautiful reminder that caregiving goes beyond a career. It’s about building meaningful connections, showing compassion, and making a difference in the lives of others. We’re so grateful to have Dawn as part of our Home Instead family! 💚

Lori had an amazing time at the Belden Village Retiree Expo!

This exciting event brought together local experts and community resources to help those preparing for retirement and those already enjoying it! From recreation and travel to health, finances, volunteering, caregiving, and more, there was so much valuable information to explore.

We loved connecting with the community, sharing resources, and spreading the word about how Home Instead supports seniors and their families. Thank you to everyone who stopped by! 🏡💚

Across the country, Home Instead teams are showing up with purpose at Walk to End Alzheimer’s events—walking in honor of loved ones, supporting families and raising critical funds for the fight to end Alzheimer’s and all other dementia. 💜

We are proud to partner with the ’sAssociation as a Walk to End Alzheimer’s Gold National Team. Together, Home Instead has raised more than $5.7 million over the past 18 years, including $258,000 last year alone, to advance Alzheimer’s care, support and research.
