🐊🍲 CROCKTOBER at ROMS! 💜🩵

We celebrated National Croc Day on Friday with a fun twist… a Crocktober Potluck! 😂🍽️

Our students showed off their favorite Crocs, while our amazing staff brought their best crockpot creations to share! From stylish shoes to delicious dishes, it was a day full of fun, food, and Bobcat spirit! 🐾✨

💙🐾 Walking for a Cure! 💙

This Sunday, our ROMS team came together to support the fight against Type 1 diabetes! 💪✨

We are incredibly proud to share that our team raised over $2,500 and ranked among the TOP 6 fundraising teams! 🎉👏

A HUGE thank you to everyone who donated, participated, and supported this amazing cause. Together, we’re making a difference, one step at a time! 💜🩵

💜🐾 BOBCATS WALKING FOR A CAUSE! 🐾💜

For the third year, River Oaks Middle School is proud to participate in the Type 1 Diabetes Walk! Our Bobcat community has already raised an incredible $2,414, and we are SO close to reaching our school fundraising goal! 🎉

This weekend, these amazing singers represented our Bobcat Family at the Dorchester District 2 Honor Choir. They prepared music with over 100 other middle school students and together they performed an amazing concert!

🐾💜🩵 Principal for a Day at ROMS!
River Oaks Middle School was excited to welcome Ms. Katie Lesage, Regional Administrator for Schumacher Homes, as our Principal for a Day! 🎉
Ms. Lesage spent the day alongside Ms. Tracy, getting a firsthand look at the busy world of middle school leadership! From experiencing the daily hustle and bustle to seeing the great things happening throughout our school, she got a glimpse of what it takes to lead our Bobcats!
We are grateful for community leaders like Ms. Lesage who take the time to visit our schools, connect with our students and staff, and see the incredible work happening each day.

🍎🥕 Healthy Habits Start Young! 🍓🥦

Our Bobcats welcomed dietitian Natalie Roberts, who spent lunch introducing students to healthy snack options and exciting new flavors! 💚✨

Through food exploration, students learned about nutritious choices and the importance of healthy eating. Natalie will return three more times this school year to introduce different fruits and vegetables and their benefits! 🌟

We love encouraging our Bobcats to try new things and build healthy habits! 💜🩵🐾
