Tagged with Care
Nothing says love like metadata, right? Celebrate Valentine’s Day by preserving your Love Story! Join us for Tagged w/ Care, a metadata workshop series, where you’ll learn soft skills for preserving your personal archive and/or family archive through storytelling and metadata.
Through practicing soft skills, attendees will learn what it means to create story centered metadata for our special moments while preserving tender memories with the ones you love. Whether your archive is in a photo album, phone album or cloud drive, you’ll have the opportunity to hashtag them all with care.
This workshop is open to anyone interested in documenting and preserving personal, family, or community stories.
The Los Angeles Public Library offers this metadata workshop series as part of Community: Your Archive, Your Legacy, an initiative supported by the Library Foundation of Los Angeles and funded by the Mellon Foundation.
For ADA accommodations, call (213) 228-7430 at least 72 hours prior to the event.
