The California State Fair is proud to continue the 172-year tradition of showcasing the Best of California during the 2026 California State Fair. Competitors from across the state will compete for top honors and cash prizes. Enter the competition that best suits your talents!

Entry fees range from $10-$20, depending on the competition.

Metro is approaching final design and preparing for construction this Spring to deliver faster and reliable bus service between the San Fernando and San Gabriel Valleys. 🚌
Join Metro at any Community Meetings in February & March to hear how the North Hollywood to Pasadena Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Project is progressing through final design before construction is anticipated to begin this year. Your feedback is encouraged! All meetings will offer the same information, and in-person meetings will be held in an Open House format.

In October of 2023, the City opened two ramps that connected communities on the south side of Chandler to the bike path as a first phase of planned improvements.
If you know anyone who cares for the plants on the bike path at Strohm and Chandler, please make them aware that the construction team will be clearing the area during construction. We hope the plants can be transplanted and saved to make room for these improvements!
The second phase of this project is about to begin construction. On the east side of Cahuenga, a new bike/pedestrian ramp with workout equipment is coming to Strohm and Chandler. This will make the bike path more accessible, especially to those with mobility aids including wheelchair users.
We are so excited for these improvements, and the continued investment in the Chandler bike path. Thank you and BSSLA for making this happen!
