Nursing students. Linemen. Teachers. First responders. Business owners. Skilled tradesmen.

Across Arkansas, Guard Soldiers are earning degrees, building careers, raising families, and serving something bigger than themselves.

Guard service can build on the life you are already creating through additional income, affordable health coverage, education benefits, hands-on training, and leadership experience.

Different careers. Different goals. One shared commitment to serve.

Show up early. Get to work. Learn your job. Strengthen your skills. Push your limits. Rely on your team. Leave more prepared than you arrived.

One weekend can hold a lot of training—and every bit of it builds readiness for the mission ahead.

Big decisions deserve clear answers.

Parents and students should understand the service commitment, Basic Combat Training, job training, education benefits, drill requirements, and what happens if a Soldier is activated or deployed. Those details can vary based on the applicant, selected job, unit, and enlistment option.

Bring every question. A local recruiter can walk your family through the timeline and the written details before any decision is made.

Think you've missed your opportunity to serve?

You may have more options than you realize.

The Army has expanded its enlistment age eligibility, opening the door for more adults to explore military service.

Not every opportunity is meant to be easy.

Some challenge you. Some push you beyond what you thought you were capable of. And some change what you believe is possible.

What will you do with yours?

Uncommon is Calling.

WHEN EVERY SECOND COUNTS, EVERY SOLDIER HAS A ROLE.

Medical evacuation training brings ground and aviation teams together to move a simulated casualty from the point of injury to care.

It takes clear communication, trust, and the ability to perform under pressure. This is what it looks like to train for a mission bigger than yourself.

Could you see yourself on this team?

Some of the best parts of serving aren’t found in a job description.

They’re the people beside you, the experiences you share and the team you become part of along the way.

In the Arkansas Army National Guard, you’ll train, serve and take on challenges alongside Soldiers from communities across our state.

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED. 🎯

1,000 enlistments was the mission.

Today, the Arkansas Army National Guard Recruiting and Retention Battalion officially met—and exceeded—that mission with enlistments 999, 1,000 and 1,001 for FY26.

This milestone represents more than a number. It represents 1,001 Arkansans who made the decision to serve, and the hard work of the Soldiers, leaders, families and communities who helped make it possible.

To every RRNCO and every member of the team who contributed to this mission throughout the year—congratulations. Mission accomplished.

And to our newest Soldiers: Welcome to the Arkansas Army National Guard!

No Better Place.
