October's full moon, the Hunter's Moon, peaks Sunday night, and the Full Moon Kayak Tour is the best seat in the city for it. πŸš£β€β™‚οΈ

A guided paddle through the mangroves and across the bay under full moonlight, followed by a bonfire on the beach with s'mores and lemonade. This tour fills up every single month, and a Hunter's Moon paddle is not one you want to miss. πŸŒ†

The mangrove tunnel that opened up to still, glassy water with no one else around. The heron that didn't move even as you paddled within ten feet. The second you came out of the trees and the whole bay opened up in front of you. πŸš£β€β™‚οΈ

That's the moment that made you come back. Or the one that's about to. 🀩

No flight. No long drive. No planning six months out. πŸ™‚

Oleta River State Park sits ten minutes from downtown Miami, and somehow that's enough distance to make the city disappear completely. Mangrove trails instead of traffic. Open water instead of skyline noise. A beach that feels like it shouldn't exist this close to a major city, but does. πŸ–οΈ

Get away from it all, in the middle of it all. That's not a slogan here. That's just what a Tuesday looks like. 😎

As the sun goes down, the moon comes out, and so do the ghosts. Golden hour turns to full moon glow, and the water gets a little spookier with every paddle stroke. This is what Ghost & Ghouls looks like right before the costumes and campfire kick in.

Grab your crew, throw on your best (or worst) costume, and paddle out with us under the full moon. One night only, October 24th, 6-9pm at Oleta River State Park. Trust us, the ghosts wouldn't miss it, and neither should you.

Comment GHOST and we'll send you the details. πŸ‘»

The humidity finally breaks a little this month, and that's your cue. β˜€οΈ

Paddle out in the morning while the light is soft and the mangrove tunnels are still cool. Come back around noon and let Oleta River Grill do the rest, smoked fish dip, conch fritters, a table on the water, no rush to leave. πŸš£β€β™‚οΈ

This is the Miami fall day people who don't live here don't know exists.

Monday is a holiday, which means an extra day to actually use. Kayak rentals, mountain bike trails, a beach for the kids to burn off energy, and Oleta River Grill open all day if nobody wants to cook. 😎🚣

Whatever your crew is doing with the extra day, this is a pretty good option. πŸ˜‰
