Before the trucks. Before the smiles. Before the groceries hit the cars… there’s them.
This is our volunteer family — past and present. From packing boxes during COVID, to unloading donations in the heat, to showing up year after year because “community” isn’t a buzzword here. It’s a commitment.
Some faces you’ll recognize. Some have moved on. All of them helped build what Good News Community Food Pantry is today.

It’s not just on the Haitian flag. It’s what we live out every week at Good News Community Food Pantry.
Did you know? May is Haitian Heritage Month, and May 18th is Haitian Flag Day — celebrating the flag created in 1803 and the unity that won Haiti’s independence.
That same unity shows up in North Miami when neighbors help neighbors. When volunteers load groceries. When we dance, pray, and eat together.
