Our ODE Chiefs have done it AGAIN! 🍬👻 They filled up the **PTO Candy Monster** one more time, and it's time to celebrate with their **FINAL PRIZE — STUFFY DAY!** 🥳

Students are invited to bring their **favorite stuffed animal (stuffy)** to school for a fun-filled day with their cuddly companions! 🧸💙💛

⭐ **A few friendly reminders:**
🧸 Please choose ONE favorite stuffy to bring.
🏫 Stuffies must be appropriate for school.
💙 Students should bring a stuffy they can keep up with and care for throughout the day.

We are so proud of our Chiefs for rising to the challenge and filling that Candy Monster AGAIN! A huge thank-you to our amazing PTO for making these celebrations possible!

🌊💙💛 OCEAN DRIVE IS EXCELLENT! AND WE COULDN’T BE MORE PROUD! 💛💙🌊

Today, we celebrate an incredible accomplishment at Ocean Drive Elementary! We earned EXCELLENT in Student Achievement, EXCELLENT in Student Progress, and EXCELLENT in School Climate! 🏆

Achieving Excellent in both Student Achievement and Student Progress is a remarkable accomplishment, and not many schools have reached this level in both areas. To top it off, our EXCELLENT rating in School Climate reflects the positive, supportive, and student-centered environment we work hard to create every single day.

This is what happens when a school community shares a vision, believes in its students, and commits to making a difference!

💙 To our teachers and staff: Thank you for seeing the vision through and keeping Thrive at the Drive at the heart of everything we do. Your dedication, passion, and hard work are making a lasting difference in the lives of our students.

💛 To our students: YOU are the reason we do what we do! At the end of the day, the greatest measure of our success is the tremendous impact you are making through your learning and growth. We are so proud of you!

🌊 To our parents and the North Myrtle Beach community: Thank you for standing alongside us, believing in our school, and investing in our children. Every stakeholder plays an important role in our success, and this accomplishment belongs to our entire Ocean Drive family!

At Ocean Drive, we don’t just talk about a vision—we live it. We don’t just set expectations—we rise to meet them. And we don’t just strive for excellence—we make it part of who we are!

THREE AREAS. THREE EXCELLENT RATINGS. ONE INCREDIBLE SCHOOL FAMILY.

We are Ocean Drive Elementary. We are Thrive at the Drive.

AND OCEAN DRIVE IS EXCELLENT! 🌊🏆💙💛

Ocean Drive Elementary Rated EXCELLENT on State Report Card!

School report cards are out, and Ocean Drive Elementary earned an EXCELLENT rating! The SC Department of Education issues school report cards, and the results reflect our students' academic achievement and the school’s environment.

A rating of Excellent indicates that our school’s performance substantially exceeds the criteria to ensure all students meet the Profile of the SC Graduate.

A major factor in Ocean Drive Elementary’s success was our commitment to high levels of student achievement and academic growth. Our teachers and staff remained focused on strong instructional practices, clear learning expectations, meaningful student engagement, and ensuring students could apply what they learned. This collective commitment contributed to our Excellent ratings in both Student Achievement and Student Progress, as well as our Excellent rating in School Climate.

At Ocean Drive, Thrive at the Drive is more than a slogan—it is the vision that guides our work every day. We are grateful to our dedicated teachers and staff, supportive families, and community partners in North Myrtle Beach for investing in our students and believing in what is possible. Most importantly, we celebrate our students, whose learning, growth, and accomplishments are at the heart of everything we do. Ocean Drive is proud to be Excellent, and we remain committed to helping every student thrive!
