North Ogden City offices and the Green Waste Pit will be closed Monday, October 12 in observation of the federal holiday.

No delays will be in effect for trash collection.

Please make sure your cans are curbside by 6 AM on your regularly scheduled pick up day.

📢 Holiday Reminder

North Ogden City offices will be closed tomorrow, Friday, July 24, in observance of the Pioneer Day holiday.

🚛 Garbage collection will not be affected. Republic Services will collect Friday routes on their normal schedule.

🌿 The Green Waste Pit will also be open during its regular Saturday hours.

We wish everyone a safe, fun, and happy Pioneer Day weekend!

WATER MAIN BREAK:
APPROXIMATELY 3100 E 100 E

Please be aware that crews are mobilizing on 100 E, just above 3100 N to repair a water leak.

Due to the location of this water line break, travelers heading south on 100 E, above 3100 N, will experience a temporary shift in the previous detour to navigate around the leak repair location.

This traffic control shift will be restored back to it's original detour path once the leak repair is completed.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to get services restored to homes in the area.

Please be advised this intersection will be closed for about a month while work pertaining to the widening project is completed.

TRAVEL IMPACTED TOMORROW, JUNE 18, 2026:
2600 N from 450 E to 1050 E

As we continue to work through our road projects and navigating overlapping traffic control plans, we wanted to make you aware that tomorrow, June 18, 2600 N will be inaccessible due to paving being done.

Please avoid 2600 N while crews are on site so work is completed efficiently.

We do appreciate your patience as we continue to work through these projects and the traffic control set ups that are put in place for everyone's safety.

GREEN WASTE & RECYCLING CLOSED:
Monday, June 15, 2026

In observation of the Juneteenth holiday, the Green Waste Pit will be closed for drop off of yard waste and recycling.

The pit will be open Saturday, June 13 and after the holiday on Wednesday, June 17 for it's normal operating hours.

Trash collection will not experience delays for this holiday. Please have your cans out on their normal trash pick up day.

Pineview Water Systems has notified us of a main break just below 3100 N on 300 E.

They will be doing a night repair tonight, June 11, 2026, beginning at 9 PM to get services restored to homes in the area.

Please see their traffic control plan for detours as it will result in an adjustment to our 450 E road widening detour.

Their plan is to have the road reopened by 7 AM provided they don't run into any unforeseen problems.

Please proceed through residential areas with caution, and at the posted 25 MPH speed limit, to ensure all residents remain safe.

2026 STREET MAINTENANCE PROJECTS:
Beginning June 8, 2026

As part of our ongoing efforts to improve and maintain city streets, several roads throughout the city will undergo construction and rehabilitation work over the coming months.

Because each street requires different types of repairs, you may see utility crews working on one street while paving operations are taking place on another. This is a normal part of the construction process and helps keep projects moving efficiently.

Residents who may experience temporary access restrictions to their homes will receive advance notice through door hangers with project-specific information.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation during construction. Please follow all posted detours and traffic control signs to help keep workers, residents, and motorists safe and to ensure projects are completed as quickly as possible.
