"Industry-wide vulnerability to job displacement is approximately 6%, with the steepest risks in Information (18%), Finance and Insurance (16%), and Professional, Scientific, and Technical Services (16%).
Occupations with high vulnerability to AI-driven job loss account for an estimated $757 billion in annual U.S. income, or about 7.5% of total labor income from wages and salaries. The occupations most vulnerable to AI are Writers and Authors (57%), Computer Programmers (55%), and Web and Digital Interface Designers (55%) in terms of proportion of jobs affected. The greatest total income loss falls on Software Developers, Management Analysts, and Market Research Analysts/Marketing Specialists — reflecting both their high salaries and the volume of workers affected."
