Welcome to the North Reading Police Department!

We are proud to introduce and congratulate two new Patrol Officers who are joining the NRPD family. Both have deep roots in our community and bring strong backgrounds in service and education.

Patrol Officer Stone Robertson grew up in North Reading and is a 2018 graduate of North Reading High School. After high school, he proudly served four years in the United States Marine Corps. We look forward to the leadership, discipline, and commitment he brings to our department and community.

Patrol Officer Hanna Goodreau also grew up in North Reading. She is a 2021 graduate of Bishop Fenwick High School. After High School Hanna played lacrosse and later earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and Sociology, with a minor in Social Work, from Hartwick College in Oneonta New York. Her educational background and local connection make her a great addition to the team.

Please join us in welcoming Officers Robertson and Goodreau as they begin their careers with the North Reading Police Department.

We are excited to have them serving and protecting the town they both call home.

We are proud to share that for the month of October, North Reading Police will be wearing pink badges in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

As we wear these badges, we are reminded of those fighting breast cancer and their families, and the unwavering strength and courage they carry.

North Reading Police stand in solidarity with those affected by breast cancer. We hope that by wearing these badges, we can bring awareness to the issue and highlight the importance of early detection and research in the fight against breast cancer.

-Lowell Road: From Main Street to the town line.

Motorists should expect traffic impacts and possible delays while crews are working. Please avoid the area if possible. If travel is necessary, please use caution, slow down, and follow any temporary traffic controls or directions from detail officers at the work site.

The North Reading Police Department is recognizing Alzheimer's Awareness Month this September and offering support to families in the North Reading community.

The North Reading Police Department offers a Silver Alert program to help ensure the safety of people with Alzheimer's disease, as well as access to a Mental Health Clinician who can assist those in need of resources.

The Department has also planted Promise Garden flowers in front of the police station to show support for Alzheimer's awareness.

The Silver Alert program collects photographs, descriptive information and emergency contact information that can assist police if an individual goes missing due to a tendency to wander.

To learn more about the program and how to sign up, visit: https://docs.google.com/document/d/15BLtRW7RJuLm2xKtqs9OT7f9kFJxHS5I/edit?usp=drive_link&ouid=111500871695848253495&rtpof=true&sd=true&utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=facebook

The Department would also like families to be aware that Mental Health Clinician Laura Miranda and Elder Affairs Lt. James Carcia are available to help those in need of resources from the North Reading Senior Center and elsewhere.

Anyone with questions can contact Miranda at [email protected] or Lt. Carcia at [email protected].
