Yesterday, our Department accepted delivery of 10 complete sets of Ricochet Maximum Mobility PFAS and halogenated chemical free turnout gear. This is a huge step forward for us in our fight to eliminate the hazards of PFAS and other hallogenated chemicals from our equipment that our members wear and work with daily.

In addition to yesterday’s 10 sets, we also were able to acquire an additional 6 complete sets utilizing grant opportunities over the last year, allowing us to outfit 16 of our members in this new gear.

These crucial sets of gear were purchased with capital funds approved by the Town Council, who we thank greatly for their continued support.

🚨 IMPORTANT EVENT UPDATE 🚨

Due to the record-breaking heat expected on July 3rd, we have made the difficult decision to postpone our Hope Jackson Family Fun Day & Fireworks to Saturday, July 18th.

This decision was not made lightly. The safety of our volunteers, vendors, and the thousands of community members who attend our event is our top priority. With the extreme temperatures forecasted, we believe postponing the event is the safest choice for everyone.

đź“… New Date: Saturday, July 18th

📢 Please help us spread the word by sharing this post so we can reach as many people as possible and avoid confusion.

🎆 We still need your help! While the date has changed, our need to fund this year's fireworks display has not. We are still well short of our fundraising goal, and every donation—large or small—helps keep this community tradition alive.

If you've been meaning to donate but haven't had the chance yet, now is a great time. Your generosity helps ensure we can continue bringing this tradition to our community.

Thank you for your understanding, your continued support, and for helping us keep this tradition alive. We look forward to celebrating with everyone on Saturday, July 18th! 🇺🇸🎆

If you are able, please consider making a donation today and help us reach our fundraising goal. Every dollar makes a difference.
