Tri-County Transit is expanding transportation options in the North Country with the launch of the new Colebrook-Lancaster Link, a flex bus route connecting the Colebrook and Lancaster areas beginning September 17.
The new route addresses a community-identified transportation need by providing a public transit connection between Upper Connecticut Valley Hospital in Colebrook and Weeks Medical Center in Lancaster. Additional stops provide access to healthcare, shopping and community destinations along the Route 3 corridor, including Coรถs County Family Health Services and Ocean State Job Lot.
Passengers can also connect with the Tri-Town flex route in Lancaster, serving Lancaster, Whitefield and Littleton and providing access to additional healthcare and community destinations throughout the region.
โOur Community Needs Assessment in 2024 identified reliable, safe public transportation, particularly to access healthcare, as a top priority,โ said TCCAP CEO Jeanne Robillard. โWe are very excited to have filled that need with the support of Community Service Block Grant (CSBG) funds. We are hoping to continue to expand our routes in 2027 with a Berlin-Lancaster Link.โ
