The judges are here judging the pumpkins!! We have some awesome pumpkins!! Thanks for participating in the pumpkin costume class!! You all done an awesome job!! Award ceremony will be tomorrow, Thursday October 22nd at the 4-H Office in Tazewell.

The Annual Tazewell County 4-H Fall Harvest Show will be held on October 22, 2026 at 6pm at the VCE office. All entries must be turned in by Monday, October 19, 2026. See attached flyer for class list and show details. We look forward to seeing your fall harvest! Youth age 5-18.

🎄🎁 2026 4-H Shoebox Christmas Project 🎁🎄

Tazewell County 4-H and Tazewell Primary School are partnering together for the 2026 4-H Shoebox Christmas Project!

We are accepting items for our 2026 4-H Shoebox Christmas Project. This year, we are excited to include Tazewell Heritage Hall along with Dogwood Crossing in this special project!

This is a wonderful opportunity for Tazewell County 4-H members and Tazewell Primary School students to give back to their community, spread Christmas cheer, and learn the importance of kindness, generosity, and service to others.

We greatly appreciate any items you are able to donate to this wonderful cause.

As part of the 2026 National 4-H Week campaign, Monday, October 5th is “GO GREEN” day. Show off your 4-H spirit by wearing GREEN - 4-H clothing or hats, 4-H sticker, face paint— anything green goes.
Send us ([email protected]) pictures of your 4-H GO GREEN getup to be included on our social media and/or in our next Tazewell County 4-H newsletter!
The school that wears the most 4-H green will receive the 4-H Spirit Stick and 4-H stickers!! Come on Tazewell County, let’s GO GREEN!
