One of the core pillars in Matadors United is Sustainability. Today, Sevag and Kenya stopped by at the Institute of Sustainability on campus to discuss their goals if elected. Matadors United plans on increasing our sustainable practices as an organization by creating a bike rental program so that we can incentivize bike usage on our campus and reduce our carbon footprint, and encourage students that live near campus to utilize their bikes instead of driving to campus to help with the parking issue. Additionally we plan on making sure the percentage of brown lawns increases by the end of term to aid in the state's water conservation efforts.
