Join LAUSD Board Member Scott Schmerelson for his “Connecting in Quarantine” series, which continues tomorrow, April 16.
Board Member Schmerelson's office will have a new virtual workshop offering for parents and caregivers each Thursday. Entitled “Restorative Practices,” tomorrow afternoon’s workshop will review strategies for families to respond to conflict, discuss emotions, and improve relationships at home. The workshops will be streamed live on Facebook, but you do not need a Facebook account to participate.

Tonight at Northridge East Neighborhood Council: Post Office Relocation, Voting Centers, LAPD/Public Safety + More
Your Northridge East Neighborhood Council meets tonight Wednesday, February 19, 2020 beginning at 7:00 p.m. featuring several timely topics:
*Assembly District 45 will be recognizing the people who worked to have the plaque recently installed at Oakridge Park.
*PREPARE FOR THE MARCH 3 ELECTION
Item 6b. includes a full list of voting centers in Northridge East NC for the March 3, 2020 election!
The voting centers will be open from February 29 through March 3 for voting. Only voting centers will be available for the election. There will not be local polling places.

*One of the four LAPD Senior Lead Officers who serve portions of Northridge East NC will be giving a public safety update. SLO Patti Peteque will be joining us after 8:00 p.m. Her Basic Car serves the area west of White Oak Avenue and south of Lassen Street.

Proposed Relocation of Northridge Main Post Office - Public Meeting 11am This Meeting Followed By 30 Day Comment Period

Public meeting scheduled for Feb. 13 on the proposed relocation of Northridge Main Post Office
NORTHRIDGE, CA — The U.S. Postal Service is considering relocating services from the current Northridge Main Post Office located at 9534 Reseda Blvd, Northridge, CA 91324, to a yet-to-be-determined location, as close as possible to the current location.
The Postal Service is considering relocation because our landlord has plans to redevelop the property that the Postal Service occupies, and will not renew the lease.
A public meeting will be held to explain the proposal and hear comments at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 13, 2020, at the Northridge Main Post Office lobby, 9534 Reseda Blvd, Northridge, CA 91324.
Additionally, for 30 days after the public meeting, anyone may submit written comments to the address below for the Postal Service’s consideration prior to its final decision. Please submit written comments to:
