NOTICE FOR THE HALLOWEEN PARADE: Please have all the cars moved on the parade route for the following streets by 4 PM on October 28, 2026. The streets have been posted no parking.

King street- From Front to Third street
Second Street - From Queen Street to Wallace Street
Orange Street - From Park Alley to Seventh Street
Seventh Street - From Orange Street to Queen Street
Queen Street - From Seventh Street to Front Street
Front Street - From Queen Street to King Street.

If vehicles are not moved, they will be towed at owners' expense.

Borough Council Vacancy Notice

The Northumberland Borough Council is accepting applications to fill one vacant Council seat. Interested residents must submit their applications by 5:00 p.m. on November 5, 2026.

The term for the position will be through December 2028, with the appointment to be made during the Borough Council meeting on November 10, 2026.

Public Notice – Parking Restrictions**
Date of Restriction: Wednesday, 07 October 2026 Time: 09:00 A.M. to 12:30 P.M.
Northumberland Borough will be enforcing temporary parking restrictions on the following streets to accommodate a large funeral.
Second Street — Wheatley Avenue to Duke Street (both sides)
Queen Street — Second Street to Church Avenue (both sides)
All vehicles must be removed from these areas prior to the start of the restriction period.
Vehicles remaining in violation may be ticketed and towed at the owner’s expense.
