Two of our wonderful staff members Sylvia Holmes and Erin Jackson were so excited and learned so much this past Friday when they attended "Every Book Its Reader: A Readers' Advisory Gathering."

This gathering brought together library staff who are passionate about connecting adult readers with books through conversation, exploration, and shared experience.

The goal for the day was for participants to deepen their readers' advisory practice, discover new ideas and perspectives, and build relationships with others engaged in this work. Many thanks to the hosts at Topeka & Shawnee County Public Library and the Northeast Kansas Library System for this wonderful opportunity!
