A heartfelt thank you to Sam, our 403 Bus Driver. Earlier this week the bus encountered a minor mechanical issue. Thanks to Sam's quick thinking, the bus pulled over, the students were supported by our police and fire department, and everyone arrived home safely.

It is fitting that this is National School Bus Driver Safety Week. We can help drivers like Sam by doing the following:

When a school bus’s red lights are flashing, and its stop arm is extended:

-Come to a complete stop.
-Remain stopped until the lights turn off and the stop arm retracts.
-Stay alert for children who may be crossing the street.

This National School Bus Safety Week Cranbury School encourages drivers, families, and students to make school bus safety a priority. A few moments of patience can help every student get to and from school safely.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a time to recognize the importance of caring for our health and supporting those affected by breast cancer. At Cranbury, we believe that kindness, compassion, and coming together as a community can make a difference. This month, we wear pink to show our support for the individuals and families affected by breast cancer and to remind them that they are surrounded by care and encouragement. 💗 Together, we can spread kindness, raise awareness, and show the power of a caring community!

🌳 Check out this beautiful crab apple tree in front of our school!

For those who remember, there was a crab apple tree in front of the former Cranbury School building as well. That tree was planted in honor of Patsy Zaino, a beloved Cranbury School custodian.

We wanted to make sure that Patsy’s memory—and a special piece of Cranbury history—continued to live on in our new school. ❤️

Once a part of the Cranbury family, always a part of the Cranbury family!

We remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and honor the remarkable courage of first responders and everyday heroes. Each year we ring the bell and have an extended moment of silence. Thinking of all those impacted by this day.
