One day may not seem like much, but every school day matters.

Going to school every day can help prevent small learning gaps from getting bigger. Every Day Counts!

The Armour is Earned”

Congratulations to Kaleb LaPine and Addyson Burklund for Knight Student-Athlete of the Week! Who will be the next Knight to earn their seat at the round table?

Addyson Burklund – On the court, she is a 6-rotation player with a positive hitting average. She has the highest serve-receive rating on the team, and she hustles hard at every practice. In the classroom, Addy is an exemplary student and citizen at Norway High School. She is highly dedicated and consistently demonstrates an exceptional work ethic in her academics; that’s why she shines in the classroom and is a great example of what it means to be a Norway Knight—on and off the court!

Kaleb LaPine – On the football field, Kaleb was the offensive leader in rushing and passing all season. He led our team in touchdowns, with 32 total touchdowns on the season. He led by example all season long and never quit, no matter what. He’s the kind of player we want others to follow. In the classroom, the teachers cannot say enough good things about his character. While he works hard as an athlete, his kindness, compassion, and integrity in the classroom are what truly define him. He is a caring individual who consistently looks out for others and stands up for what is right. He is exactly the kind of student every teacher hopes to have, and you will never find him without a smile on his face.

Congratulations to Cierra Hemeleski on being named student of the week! Cierra is the daughter of Bob and Sarah Hemeleski. A standout ninth grader, Cierra consistently excels across all academic subjects and serves as a natural leader among her peers. Beyond her success in the classroom, she is an active and dedicated member of the school community, participating in Key Club, Drama Club, Band, athletics, and the Iron Mountain Skating Club (IMSC). Cierra’s strong work ethic, leadership, and diverse talents make her a well-rounded and exemplary student.
