Last Saturday, I had the pleasure of sharing some of our water with another one of our mutual aid departments. This water was received through the NVFC 7G Distributing Grant.

The Fairfax Fire Department is one of Norway’s valued mutual aid partners—one we know we can count on when help is needed. We always look forward to working alongside Fairfax and all of our other mutual aid partners.

Water was shared with Atkins, Newhall, and Fairfax—three departments we work with frequently. We wanted to take the opportunity to show our appreciation for the relationships we have built with these departments and the support we provide one another.

Mutual aid is about more than responding together—it’s about building relationships, supporting each other, and making sure we are there when our communities need us most.

Thank you to Atkins, Newhall, and Fairfax for everything you do and for being great partners!

A special thank you to NVFC and 7G Distributing for their generous support. I’d also like to extend a huge thank you to Nick Vandeberg for pursuing the grant that provided emergency drinking water for our department.

This past Monday, I had the pleasure of catching up with Chief Rammelsberg and sharing some of this water with the members of the Atkins Fire Department and First Responders. It’s always a pleasure working alongside Atkins, and we look forward to continuing our partnership in serving our communities.

Thank you again to everyone who made this possible!
