Join Norwell's Chef Abby for a fabulous fall comfort food cooking demonstration at the library. Chef Abby will create Wild Rice and Mushroom Soup, with a Pistachio - Halloumi Salad with Crispy Bread. You will have the chance to sample Chef Abby's creations as well as take home recipes!

Introduction to Safe Foraging: Focus Mushrooms, Part II: Sally Rossi-Ormon (Lecture)

Sally will focus the majority of time on very basic intro mushroom identification, 12 most common edibles in this area and how to handle the mushrooms after harvest. *

*Please note this is an educational identification forage lecture. This program does not endorse large-scale harvesting. Many wild plants and fungi support endangered and threatened species of insects, birds and animals and be aware of local ordances before doing any harvesting.

Never consume any wild plant or mushroom without 100% identification and guidance from local experts.
