Digital Challenge Day 3: Is this AI or not?? Have you ever been to Gaius M. Cook Memorial Park in Greene? It is a County owned park with camping, trails, and a beautiful pond for fishing!

As a reminder, this week is Digital Inclusion Week! While we want everyone to be able to have access to computers and the internet, we also want you to be safe about it. Make sure when looking at social media images, you are looking for context clues on whether or not the image is real or not.

Sometimes the base image may be real, but there are some things out of context people have included, thinking it's the cool and HIP thing to do.... 🦛

Thank you to The Evening Sun for spreading the word about our Transportation Survey! The answers you provide help us understand your needs, the transportation barriers, and what opportunities and services we should serve. The results will also help Chenango County Public Transit provide the best service possible to our residents.

Right now we only have 24 responses, making it hard to really gain an understanding of the need. Please take a few minutes to complete the survey!

Digital Challenge! Is this AI or not? What do you think? Did we happen to capture a picture of a panda climbing the Berry Hill Fire Tower?? Comment below your guess!

October 4-10, 2026 is Digital Inclusion Week, an annual nationwide event dedicated to raising awareness about digital equity and the vital importance of inclusion in our increasingly digital world.

Digital Inclusion means ensuring everyone has access to the internet, whether at home or through community resources like area libraries.

Having access to the internet is beneficial to everyone, but knowing how to use the internet, and using it safely, can be particularly challenging with the increasing use of AI.

This week we will be posting some images to test the community knowledge on whether or not the image is AI or not. Some may be easier than others! :)

We'll post the answer in the comments in a day or two!

How do you get to where you need to go? We want to hear from you!!

As part of the Chenango County 2050 Vision Plan, transportation and transportation barriers were a leading topic of discussion.

Whether it was to work, medical appointments, groceries, or any number of reasons, barriers to transportation can impede progress.

Help us understand transportation and transportation barriers in Chenango County. Take the survey today!

When an amazing partner organization like UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital needs a "receptionist" and "nurse" for their newest commercial... you say YES!!

It may have only been for a second of screen time, but hey.... Stephen Spielberg or James Cameron if you see this... our office is game!

Congratulations and thank you to UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital for always being a great partner on projects and all of the investments you are making in Chenango County!
