💊 Clear out your medicine cabinet! Drug Enforcement Administration - DEA National Prescription Drug Take Back Day is THIS Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Drop off unused or expired medications for free, anonymous disposal.

Have va**ng devices? Check with your collection site first. Devices containing lithium-ion batteries cannot be accepted. Do not force open a device to remove its battery.

We always enjoy being part of this fun, family-friendly event and sharing Public Health information while raising awareness about rabies!

Stop by Animals of Halloween TOMORROW, Saturday, October 17, from 2–5 PM at the Rogers Conservation Center in Sherburne!

Discover the fascinating wildlife of our region on a guided trail walk featuring fun, non-spooky skits performed by actors in animal costumes. It’s a great opportunity for all ages to learn about local wildlife while enjoying some Halloween-themed fun!

Our Public Health team enjoyed being part of this event each year, and we’ll be there again tomorrow! We hope to see you there!🦉

Rabies is a deadly virus. If you find a bat in your home or when you wake up to a bat in your bedroom, DO NOT release it. It can be tested. Do not touch wild animals. Always wear gloves to protect yourself from rabies. Vaccinate your animals to protect them from rabies as well.

Today, we joined the Norwich YMCA for Healthy Aging Day! We enjoyed connecting with our community and sharing information on emergency preparedness, including the importance of being ready for unexpected situations.

We also raffled off an emergency preparedness kit to help one lucky community member be better prepared!
