UCFS Eldercare Sheltering Arms is a residential care home for adults 60 years of age and older. Ross Adult Day Center is an adult day program that assists with daily care

Sheltering Arms is a residential care home for men and women 60 years of age and older. Residents receive help with personal care and medication administration from a nurse or round-the-clock resident attendants. The monthly fee covers a private room, all meals, personal laundry, housekeeping services and recreational activities. Ross Adult Day Center is a medical model adult day program that provides meals, therapeutic recreation, daily living skills assistance, personal care, social supports, nursing services, medication management, rehabilitative therapy, podiatry, exercise programs and beautician services.

Keeping Our Ross Adult Day Center Community Healthy!

The health and safety of our clients are a top priority! Please keep your loved one home if they are experiencing symptoms such as fever, chills, cough, headache, muscle aches, or sore throat.

If symptoms develop while at the center, arrangements must be made for pickup. Nursing staff may also request a physician’s evaluation before returning.

Our residents at Sheltering Arms and clients at the Ross Adult Day Center enjoyed a wonderful visit from Lulu, the mini horse from High Hopes Therapeutic Riding!

Lulu brought plenty of smiles, joy, and special moments as everyone enjoyed spending time with this adorable visitor. We love creating opportunities for connection and meaningful experiences for the people we serve!

What a wonderful day of fun, laughter, and community at our UCFS Eldercare Fair!

Our clients, residents and guests enjoyed an afternoon filled with face painting, adorable animals, delicious clam fritters, and live music by Gene Johnson!

On September 11, a beautiful act of kindness brought a little extra brightness to our Eldercare community. A volunteer, whose mother was once a resident here, brought in flowers for a special activity, teaming up with one of our residents, a retired florist, to create beautiful arrangements.

Together, they arranged the flowers into beautiful displays that were placed throughout the building for residents and staff to enjoy.

A simple gesture, a shared talent, and a thoughtful way to honor a day of remembrance by spreading kindness and beauty throughout our community.

A beautiful day filled with special memories! The residents of Sheltering Arms enjoyed their annual trip to Ocean Beach, complete with ice cream, classic cars, and a breathtaking sunset to end the day.
