Official page of the Town of Norwood MA Community Preservation Committee

This is the official page of the Town of Norwood Community Preservation Committee. The Community Preservation Committee (CPC) is the town board that implements the Community Preservation Act (CPA), which was adopted by Norwood voters in 2016. Through the CPA, state and local funds are collected to fund community housing, historical resources, open space and recreation projects. Each year, the CPC opens a grant application process and receives project proposals from the community, makes determinations as to project eligibility under the CPA statute, and makes recommendations to Annual Town Meeting with respect to the projects they endorse.

Updates and photos from the Norwood Trails Committee, who have been busy building water crossings, funded by CPA funds. Pre-applications are now available for this year's CPC funding cycle. Pre-applications help determine project eligibility and coordination between the applicant and relevant Town of Norwood MA departments and are due Thursday, October 1.
