South Novato Library

This past week was our Primaveras celebration at South Novato Library. This bilingual initiative honored our diverse Latinx diasporas and Spanish speaking communities by showing off our new Colección de Liberación Spanish section, playing fútbol with students from Dominican University, and a concluding celebration at Novato Library that included the Chulita Vinyl Club. Thank you to all who came and made it possible!



La semana pasada fue nuestra celebración de Primaveras en la Biblioteca de South Novato. Esta iniciativa bilingüe honró a nuestras diversas diásporas, así como también a las comunidades que se comunican en español al mostrar nuestra nueva sección en español de la Colección de Liberación, jugar al fútbol con estudiantes de la Universidad Dominicana y una celebración final en la Biblioteca Novato que incluyó el Chulita Vinyl Club. ¡Gracias a todos los que vinieron y lo hicieron posible!

Our staff are so talented! Else Tamayo, a regular here at SNO, has an exhibit of colorful, mixed-media art celebrating the departed lives of those who touched her life. It's displayed at the Corte Madera library through November 4th.

The Learning Bus is coming to South Novato Library! Join us this Thursday, July 28th from 11:30-12:30 for a lively story time, hands on activities and our annual school supplies giveaway for Preschool-Kindergarten aged kids! Hope to see you there!
